Molla cotton twine is the signature yarn of Molla Mills Crochetterie, made by Suomen Lanka Oy in Finland. Like Liina cotton twine, Molla cotton twine is a 100% cotton, double-twisted yarn available in a wide range of colours in 6-ply, 12-ply and 18-ply options.
Molla cotton twine is widely used as a warp yarn for rugs and lightweight home textiles, as well as for crocheting a wide variety of home décor items and accessories. It is fully compatible with Liina cotton twine, so if you would like to complement Molla’s colour palette with shades such as black or natural white, you can find them in the Liina range.
Molla cotton twine is available in two cone sizes, 100 g and 500 g, and in three different thicknesses: 6-ply, 12-ply and 18-ply.

6-ply = 1-2mm

Always follow the care instructions provided. The first wash for reactive-dyed yarn should be at 60°C. Sort laundry by colour, level of soiling, washing temperature and required level of mechanical action. Wash dark and light textiles separately. White cotton products require a bleaching detergent to help them stay white.
For coloured cotton products, use a detergent intended for coloured laundry to help preserve the shades. A line underneath the care symbol indicates gentle machine action. This also means the washing machine should be loaded with less laundry than for programmes with normal mechanical action. Please note that cotton may shrink by approximately 5–10% in washing, depending on the temperature.
