Moppari mop yarn is a double-twisted yarn made from recycled cotton sourced from textile industry cutting waste. The yarn itself is not dyed; instead, its colour is created by blending fibres in different shades together. Around 20% polyester is added to the recycled cotton to make the fibre more hard-wearing.
Moppari is wound into 1 kg cones, with each cone containing approximately 300 metres of yarn, making it a highly generous option for larger projects. Moppari is a popular yarn for macramé, crochet and weaving. If desired, the twist can be opened up and the yarn can be frayed to create tassels. Moppari mop yarn is approximately 3 mm thick.

For Moppari, we recommend a delicate wash at 30°C in plenty of water with a mild detergent solution. Rinse thoroughly and dry flat on a well-ventilated surface. We do not recommend tumble drying for this product.
